Left: Bird's Eye View, Verbank, N.Y. The buildings at the left are those of the Locust Farms Creamery prior to World War I. Right: Locust Farms Creamery, Verbank. The weather vane is in the shape of a cow. It was mailed in 1912.


"Hope Farm School, Verbank, N. Y." mailed in 1916 This was one of the main buildings at the "Community and School for Children." The name was changed to Greer School in 1940. Visit the Greer-Hope Farm Alumni Association Web Site for more pictures and information. This is now part of The Fountains at Millbrook, a Retirement and Assisted Living facility, and is known as the School House.

Marsy Lester Cottage, Verbank, N. Y., mailed in 1914 with a return address "c/o Hope Farm." This was a residence of Hope Farm off Camby Road and was torn down years ago.

Left: "Hope Farm, Verbank, N. Y." Right: "Main Building." These are a couple of the main buildings, now are gone, but new ones at The Fountains at Millbrook have the bell tower on top. Click here to see a photograph taken in April of 2006 of just the old bell tower.

"Chapel of the Child." This card says it's at the Greer School, known as Hope Farm School prior to 1940, Verbank, and is now part of The Fountains at Millbrook. Click the image to see a different card of the chapel. Right: The Chapel in April of 2006.
