"St. John's English Lutheran Church." The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. John, 327 S. Main St., Sycamore was destroyed by fire Monday, February 9, 2004, including a wing that had been added to the right. See the church's website for additional information. |

Turner Brass Works, Sycamore, mailed July 10, 1907. A note on the card said, "This is Sycamore's new Factory just opened." The company was established in 1871 by E. F. Turner and was located on the near North Side of Chicago. Charles Rickett purchased the company several years later. In 1907, he moved the company to Sycamore, Illinois. Since 1907, there have been more changes in ownership. There is more information here. |
