Jonas Longs' Sons Store, Scranton, Pa. Right: "Lackawanna Avenue is one of Scranton's principal business thoroughfares. It is wide and well-paved, and although but seven blocks in length, an enormous amount of business is transacted within its limits. The buildings are tall, substantial and of the character seen in all large cities." About 1905.

The card was mailed in November of 1911 to promote all the items available for Christmas shopping. "All our goods have been selected from the best lines on the market..."

Alt Heidelberg, 206-210 Penn Avenue, Scranton. It was a popular place for the people from the Capitol Theatre next door. Established in 1878.
