Port Washington Bradley Hotel Fishing from Bradley's Dock"Bradleys Hotel, Port Washington, L. I." Published by "H. Colbert, Gents Furnishings, Stationery and Cigars, Sweet, Orr, Overalls." Right: "Fishing from Bradley's Dock" with the hotel and hotel sheds along the shore. Both printed in Germany (before 1915).

Central Hotel 1907 "Central Hotel, Village Square, Port Washington, L. I." Published by R. Buchard Holts. To the right of the porch the sign reads, in part, O'Brien. Mailed in 1907, but printed as much as two years before. Another card of this building was titled "Old Heidelberg Hotel" with a street sign for Shore Road & Main Street.

Port Washington Cove Inn 1909 "Cove Inn, Port Washington, L. I." mailed in 1909. This is the same building as above no more than five years later! The trim on the building to the right of the porch has changed along with the sign. One word is Golden. It was demolished in 1933.

Along the Shore Port WashingtonLeft: "Along Shore. Port Washington, L. I." printed before 1907 (undivided back).
Right: "Port of Port Washington Village, Port Washington, L. I." Mailed in 1910. The card is printed in blue. For an enlargement of the shore, click here.

Custom House 1907 "A Quiet Day at the Custom House, Port Washington, L. I." Published by Van Wicklen, Main Street and mailed in 1907, but printed at least the year before (undivided back). The sign over the little building says "Custom House." The large building in the back is the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club.

Port Washington Locust Grove "Locust Grove, Port Washington, L. I." Mailed in 1910 with a note "Having a fine time at Locust Grove." For an enlargement of the boat, click here.

Old Mill, Port Washington "All that's left of the old Mill, Port Washington, L. I." The card was mailed, but the postmark is not legible. From all other indications this would have been printed after 1907 and before World War I. Another postcard of this same picture was labeled, "Old Tide Mill..."

Roslyn Port Washington Road "Road from Roslyn to Port Washington, L. I."
