Halloween card by Frances Brundage 1910 Salem 1692Now it's mostly Halloween cards that have witches, such as this adorable little girl witch with her cat by Frances Brundage, copyrighted in 1910. The card at the right is an earlier one with the Salem witch hunt as a theme. The last year of the great witch hunt that resulted in the deaths of many innocent people (including an ancestor, Mary Parker of Andover). Copyright, 1903, by G.
