"High School, Great Neck, L. I." The card was mailed in 1909. This building was built on Arrandale in 1869, with the belfry and bell, as a general public school. This view shows the expanded version. It burned down in 1920. |

Great Neck High School, Great Neck, Long Island, NY. The street that leads to the school is Brokaw Lane. This card was mailed in the late 1940s. The school district has a picture of the building under construction, October 15, 1928. It is on the former Brokaw estate on Polo Road and opened in 1929. |

The Great Neck High School building, now the John L. Miller Great Neck North High School, as it looked in August of 2001. Trees and bushes make it difficult to see, but it is basically the same. The street sign says "NIRVANA AV". |
